AD Boat Rental: fleet, prices and reviews 2026

AD Boat Rental hires out boats from Los Gigantes marina, with three options depending on experience and group size: the Silver 555, which needs no boating licence; the Saxdor 200 Sport, which requires your own licence; and a Charter with a professional skipper for larger groups. Fleet and prices

Silver 555 (licence-free): up to 6 passengers, 5 metres long. From €240 for 2 hours, €270 for 3 hours, €330 for 4 hours and €450 for 6 hours. Departures at 10:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00, with a return deadline of 20:00.

Saxdor 200 Sport (your own boating licence required): up to 6 passengers, 6 metres long, with GPS, shower, sunshade and bathing ladder. From €300 for 3 hours up to €650 for a full day.

Charter (with skipper and crew): up to 9 passengers, 8 metres long, with GPS, bimini top, fridge and Bluetooth speakers. Book it as a private charter, from €600 for 3 hours, or by individual seat. Departures at 10:30 and 13:45.

The regulation change on 1 October 2026

From that date, an amendment to Royal Decree 875/2014 removes, across all of Spain, the option of hiring and skippering a rental boat yourself without a boating licence. The Silver 555, currently rented licence-free, will no longer be available on those terms; AD Boat Rental offers the skippered option as an alternative. If you plan to rent without a licence, do it before 30 September.
