The 51st Subida a Tamaimo will take place on 9 and 10 October 2026 in Santiago del Teide. Escudería Barliamotorsport is preparing an edition with more action on the road, a new parc fermé at the Archipenque viewpoint and the addition of drift as an exhibition.

What is new for the 51st edition

The sporting programme includes four runs: one free practice, one official practice and two official race runs. The final classification will use each competitor’s best time from the two race runs. The event will combine Speed, Formula Rally and an invitation-only drift exhibition, with an announced overall limit of 130 vehicles.

The course remains 5.2 kilometres long on the TF-454, with 372 metres of elevation gain, an average gradient of 6.5% and a maximum of 7.2%, according to the supplementary regulations published by the organiser.

Programme for spectators

On Friday 9 October, scrutineering and preliminary activities will take place around Puerto de Santiago square and Avenida Marítima in Playa de la Arena. The driver presentation is scheduled for 20:45, followed from 21:00 by the transfer of vehicles to the parc fermé at the Archipenque viewpoint.

On Saturday 10, the organiser plans to close the TF-454 and TF-47 to traffic from 06:30. Free practice is due to begin at 08:30, followed by official practice and the two race runs. The final ceremony and trophy presentation are planned in Tamaimo.

Entries, access and safety

Competitor entries remain open until 14:00 on 30 September unless the limit is reached earlier. The timetable and the road closure and parking documents may still be updated. Spectators should check the official website shortly before travelling, arrive early and use only the areas authorised by the organiser. Road closures will affect journeys between Tamaimo, Puerto de Santiago, Playa de la Arena and Los Gigantes.
