Un Mar de Experiencias 2026 celebrates local fishing and food

From 5 October to 27 November, Santiago del Teide will hold the ninth edition of Un Mar de Experiencias, an initiative devoted to the municipality’s relationship with the sea, artisanal fishing and local produce.

What visitors can expect

The programme will bring together food and leisure activities connected with seafood and traditional fishing. Announced highlights include a fair featuring local and artisan products, a tuna cutting demonstration and a tasting.

The project also aims to raise awareness of artisanal fishing, encourage the consumption of local produce and promote care for the marine environment, particularly among younger audiences.
